My Story at the Table

From the Kitchen, Back to Purpose

I’ve loved cooking and bringing people together for as long as I can remember. Long before I had a title for it, the kitchen was where I felt most at home: planning, preparing, and making sure everyone was taken care of.

Then came a season I never expected. After walking through homelessness, I found myself in Wilmington, North Carolina, searching for purpose again. I went back to what had always been mine and enrolled in the culinary program at Cape Fear Community College.

God’s favor met me there. I earned my Associate in Culinary Arts, received multiple scholarships along the way, and shortly after graduating I was invited back to speak at the alumni event. That same year, 2018, I started my own catering business.

The Promise

“If I ever pick catering back up, it will be for the Kingdom only.”

I stepped away from catering, but I made that promise. Every year since, the requests have kept coming, and every year I’ve had to say no. Still, they haven’t stopped, and I believe there’s a reason why.

So this page is me keeping that promise. I’m not reopening a catering company. I’m opening my kitchen, a few times a season, to gatherings that are building something eternal.

    I’ll prayerfully review your request and respond within 72 hours with my decision.

  3. Consultation

    If accepted, you’ll receive a link to schedule your consultation with me.

  4. Menu, Quote & Booking

    Your custom menu and quote are built together. Your date is secured with a deposit.
